Wulagi Primary School is located in the Darwin suburb of Wulagi. The student population is diverse with 15 nationalities represented from Asian, South Pacific, African and European countries. Wulagi Primary School has a whole school approach to literacy and numeracy, using First Steps Literacy, Guided Reading, Magic 100 Words, and Count Me In Too Maths and is trialling the QuickSmart® program for middle primary school students. Year 6 students are engaged in the Japanese language and culture sessions of the middle years program with Sanderson Middle School. The staff are committed to improving the educational outcomes and wellbeing of all students, facilitated by the Tribes TLC© process and Restorative Justice Program.
