Calliope State School is a primary level, co-educational state school offering education access for students from prep to grade seven. School enrolments are approximately 425 fulltime primary students.

Calliope State School offers curriculum in the eight KLAs of English, Mathematics, Science, Studies of Society, Technology, Health and Physical Education, The Arts and Languages other than English. Our specific LOTE language offered to grade 6 and 7 students is Korean, which can be followed through at Secondary level at Gladstone State High School.
