Chinchilla State School values all learning – academic, social and emotional. To achieve this, the school has re-focused its learning on Literacy and Numeracy and aims to ensure the Essential Learnings are incorporated in curriculum planning and delivery.

In preparing students socially and emotionally and for life at and beyond school this campus has seen the inclusion of Values Education. The values program includes the 5 values of: Responsibility, Learning, Respect, Belonging and Safety. The values are explicitly taught from Prep to year 7 and underpin the actions of all of the school community.
