St John Bosco School is an attractive and well presented educational institution which has won the Bowen Shire Council School Garden Award in 2004 and 2005.
At St John Bosco’s our curriculum goals aim to educate children to face today’s and tomorrow’s challenges with hope and confidence. In this our students are prepared for future success and productive lives. Our curriculum promotes the students as “whole people”, mind, body and spirit.
Within our curriculum every student is provided with the opportunity for becoming a life-long learner, having the Essential Learnings that help daily life in a changing world and for the challenge and joy of knowing, achieving and creating.
We currently employ specialist teachers in the areas of Music, Learning Enrichment and Physical Education.
