Currumbin Community Special School is a new purpose built facility that provides a rich learning environment for students with disabilities.>
Our school provides quality educational experiences for students with a diagnosed Intellectual Impairment and possibly additional disabilities (Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Physical Impairment, Hearing Impairment and/or Vision impairment) from Prep to Year 12 age, that are developed using a multidisciplinary team approach to meet the diverse learning needs of individuals.
Our school provides a seamless transition through the stages of learning that is aligned with the P – 12 Curriculum Framework Guidelines for Students with Disabilities and our vision is to prepare students with disabilities to be active and informed citizens, who can participate in a positive way to the community in which they live.
We aim to achieve the best educational outcomes for each student through:

- The provision of challenging and rich curriculum
- Fostering a safe, secure and supportive environment
- Providing access to and supportive participation in relevant quality inclusive programs
