Established in 1982, Kin Kora State School is committed to meeting the academic and social needs of its student body in a highly supportive and dynamic learning environment. The school exists on a hilly site surrounded by native trees and gardens and is in close proximity to shopping facilities and sporting grounds. In the past eighteen months, the school has undergone major refurbishments with the upgrading of ten classrooms and the addition of an outdoor learning area, a new REP modular, a Kindergarten and a modern and technically equipped Resource Centre.
