About Mooloolah State School

The Mooloolah Plains School opened in 1878 near the location of the current Mooloolah Cemetery. The Mooloolah Bridge School opened in 1879, on a hill close to the present spillway of Ewen Maddock Dam. Both schools fell into disrepair. By 1894, a new school had been built in Mooloolah township, opposite the Mooloolah Hall.
