Moresby State School is a Queensland State School located 12 - 14 km south of Innisfail, on the Bruce Highway. It caters for Prepatory through to year 7.
Its humble beginnings dates back to 1915, providing a school for its sugar cane farming community. It grew in student numbers over the years and the school developed into a highly recognisable service to the area. Whilst Moresby School is small it has all the facilities available to the student as does a larger school. It offers quality education and students have access to plenty of resources.
