Springfield Lakes State School is a relatively new school in the metropolitan region. It is a modern co-educational primary school catering for Prep to Year 7 students. It was constructed in two stages.
The school services the new Springfield Lakes community in the southwest of Ipswich City and is the focal point of the new and rapidly developing community. The majority of children enrolled are P-3 students reflecting the high proportion of younger families in the immediate community.
Springfield Lakes State School aims to provide quality educational programs for all students, within a supportive environment that has high expectations for success, and delivered through a differentiated curriculum.
We believe that the school environment should be happy, safe and challenging so that all students are encouraged to investigate, explore and take necessary risks that will allow them to achieve success in their learning and confidence in themselves.
