Windsor State School has a proud tradition of educating students from inner northern suburbs of Brisbane since 1865. The school is the fourth oldest State School in Brisbane and the fifteenth oldest in the State.
The school currently has an enrolment of approximately 500 Prep to Year Seven students. The growth and rejuvenation of the inner city suburbs has produced an increase in enrolments over the last few years. This is being controlled through the school’s enrolment management plan.
The school has excellent teaching and learning resources which include a well stocked library, quality modern reading resources and over eighty student workstations networked to Education Queensland’s Local Area Network. Our students also enjoy their access to the well maintained facilities which include a heated pool, cricket / football oval, tennis courts and four adventure playgrounds.
Our staff, of over fifty enthusiastic and caring people including teachers, support personnel and education-related professionals, support and guide our students to recognise and reach their individual potential.
