Wooroolin State School was established in 1901 and has thrived throughout its one hundred years of service to the Wooroolin community. The school is situated in the township of Wooroolin, approximately 20 kilometres north of Kingaroy and one hours' drive from the picturesque Bunya Mountains.
The school is an active member of the South Burnett Alliance of State schools, incorporating the Kingaroy District Small Schools Association. This Association includes Wooroolin, Coolabunia, Kumbia, Crawford, Tingoora and Durong South State Schools. Administration and staff of these schools have a strong network which aims to promote quality educational outcomes for all students.
