Brighton Secondary School is a comprehensive secondary
school, Years 8 to 12, located approximately 12 kilometres
south west of the city of Adelaide adjacent to attractive
beaches and on major train and bus routes. The school was
first opened in 1952 as Brighton High School and then
amalgamated with Mawson High School (formerly Brighton
Boys Technical High School) in 1994 to create the modern,
vibrant and diversified school that it is today.
With a current enrolment of approximately 1350 students
Brighton Secondary School has inherited a strong history
which boasts a proud tradition of academic, music and
sporting excellence encapsulated in the school’s motto,
‘Do All Things Well”.
