Reece High School was established in 1955 but in December 2000 was destroyed by an arson attack then officially reopened as a school for the 21st century in February 2003. The new school was built around a vision developed through an extensive community consultation process. Reece is a community school focused on building strong partnerships with families and the community. We deliver a rich curriculum through an inter-disciplinary context which is supported by intensive focused learning in literacy and numeracy, academic and vocational pathways. Through the provision of a highly personalised curriculum in the senior school and rich learning opportunities and support programs in the junior school, Reece is able to focus on each individual and what they need to realise their potential.
