Tasman District School is a K–12 school with over 250 students and a teaching complement of 20 FTE. The school provides specialist teaching in Materials, Design and Technology, Home Economics, Music, Information Technology and Art. Extra support is provided in literacy, numeracy and information technology by employing additional staff to support these priorities. A birth to four program operates for preschool children and parents. All areas of the school have internet access. Within the school grounds, we have a community library, swimming pool, FM radio station, on-line access centre and a skill centre. The expertise of staff members within our community is valued and utilised where possible.
