Perth Primary School is a small rural school in the village of Perth and is situated 15 kilometres south of the Launceston CBD in Tasmania. Perth has approximately 250 students, 14 full-time teachers, 3 part-time teachers and 10 other staff members including office staff, library staff, guidance officer, speech pathologist, social worker and ancillary staff. A sound educational curriculum based around the current Tasmanian Department of Education philosophy is offered to all students. There are a wide variety of learning experiences and children are encouraged to make the most of all opportunities.
