Youngtown Primary School is acknowledged at state, national and international levels as an outstanding learning place for young people. The 2009 Department of Education Staff, Student and Parent Survey data ranked Youngtown in the top 25% of schools on every criterion. Our vision focuses on inspiring students with a drive for learning; with every student having a personal sense of direction and the tenacity to be a lifelong learner who contributes to the global community in which they live. The power of home, school and community working together to grow our future leaders and citizens underpins our school's partnerships. Our student population remains stable at around 350 enrolments. One third of our students access the Student Assistance Scheme. Our teaching team delivers learning programs that lead every student to achieve highly. Priority areas for all students are Literacy and Numeracy.
