Broadmeadows Special Developmental School is a well-equipped Department of Education and Early Childhood Development school providing educational programs for students with intellectual disabilities ranging from moderate to profound. A considerable number of our pupils have other disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism, hearing and visual impairments.
The school caters for students aged from 5 to 18 years. The school is located in Sorrento Street Broadmeadows and students attending are from a wide geographical and diverse socio-economic background.
Broadmeadows SDS is a school which values and respects the individuality of each student. We are committed to achieving educational outcomes for all our students through an individually tailored curriculum. A functional and integrated approach is taken to student learning with language/communication a key focus.
