There are approximately 135 children from K-7 attending West Northam. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and family structures. In 2007 46% of our students are Aboriginal. The school operates 4 full time classes, a well equipped Pre-Primary and one Kindy unit. The special Kaadadjiny Kindy Unit is supported by the Education Department's Aboriginal Education Unit and is part of the Best Start Program. The unique onsite MOASH building is extensively used by the school, community groups and outside agencies.
