Kia Ora State School is a country school servicing the farming communities of Kia Ora, Neerdie, Goomboorian and Ross Creek. It is situated approximately 26 km north-east of Gympie. The community consists of local farming families, workers who commute to Gympie and retirees. Our school has a current enrolment of 44 students and offers a Prep-7 curriculum across two multi-age classrooms. Kia Ora school also offers Music, Physical Education and L.O.T.E. through visiting specialist teachers. Learning support services are accessed through regular visits from a Learning Support Teacher, Guidance Officer, Speech Language Pathologist and Advisory Visiting Teachers.
