Ardeer Primary School is a small metropolitan primary school with a current student enrolment of 137 students. We pride ourselves on being a caring and supportive school that is able to know and cater for the needs of our school community, on a very personal and individualised basis. At Ardeer, we are committed to the achievement of excellence in all endeavours and the maintenance of an environment where learning is highly valued and enhanced by all. Students are recognised as individuals, treated equally and are expected to achieve to their maximum potential. Students are encouraged to become active, independent learners able to participate in a cooperative learning environment and to accept increasing responsibility for their learning. All staff members at Ardeer Primary School actively work to develop their professional capacity to provide the best possible education for our students. As a result of intense professional learning, we have developed a consistent and coherent whole school approach to the teaching of Literacy and Numeracy.
