Cranbourne East Primary School commenced operations in 2011. The school is a state of the art facility built under the Public Private Partnership. This means the school is a state government school built by a private consortium (Axiom) designed to utilise private sector expertise and leased to the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) over 25 years. As part of the lease arrangements all maintenance, furniture, cleaning, security etc now becomes a non school responsibility which enables the Principal and leadership team to work more closely with teachers and students and focus on student learning and improved outcomes.
