Set up in 1963, the Department of Accounting and Finance has become the largest department of accounting and finance in Australia. During the 1970s, we offered the first banking degree in Australia and we were amongst the first to offer degrees with finance specialisations.
We are a department that has earned our reputation largely through offering high quality, leading edge programs. We also enjoy a vibrant research culture and have strong links with the professional bodies and the business community.
