The Department of Finance is one of four departments within the Faculty of Business and Economics. We have 28 full-time academic staff, five full-time professional staff and a large number of sessional teaching staff.
The Department hosts a large number of international visiting academics from all over the world; and runs a Research Seminars Series featuring academics from overseas and Australian institutions.
Our staff members offer tailored executive education programs, actively participate in professional associations, and are frequently invited to consult in the corporate and public sectors. In exchange, finance practitioners actively participate in our teaching programs.
At the undergraduate level, the Department teaches into the Bachelor of Commerce. At the postgraduate level, finance programs are offered through the Graduate School of Business and Economics.
