A major focus in 2009 for our school was to improve and sustain Literacy and Numeracy outcomes for all students. Therefore, it is encouraging to see once again this year's ‘School Improvement Report’ showing such positive outcomes. Our teachers have worked tirelessly, to deliver the very best literacy learning in all classrooms. Reliable conclusions based on data alone cannot be made due to the small numbers involved, this report along with our school based data indicates that overall, students are achieving above expected outcomes in Literacy and Numeracy. Our ‘Launching into Learning’ program which caters for our 0-4 children in the community has been a focus again in 2009. The ‘Launching into Learning’ program has been broadly supported by the young families in our community with upward of 25 children attending this weekly session.
