Tennant Creek Primary and Tennant Creek High Schools are committed to the vision of establishing and maintaining one educational structure for this community under Barkly College; one that provides a high quality, individualised education for every young person from birth to work or tertiary learning. We recognise a strong pedagogical connection, aligned behaviour (College Wide Positive Behaviours) and attendance processes will enhance the transition of students from pre-school to primary to high school. To complement this both schools are committed to enhancing the relationship and partnership with other local agencies including the Tennant Creek Child Care Centre, the Pink Palace Child Care, the Council of Elders and respected Persons and the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community.
