Berengarra is a non-profit co-educational school that provides innovative educational programmes to meet the individual needs of adolescents with social and emotional problems.
We aim to break the cycle of failure and skill students for responsible participation within the community.
The school was established in 1976 by the same group of educators that founded The Currajong School a year earlier. This year it celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The school has a maximum of 55 students. They are divided into five home groups that are loosely based on age and social compatibility. The home group meets at the beginning and at the end of the day to discuss any issues that may arise.
