North Ainslie Primary School was built in the 1950’s. It is a community school with a high level of parent participation. The school is unique because it provides an excellent teaching and learning environment to mainstream primary students and it is the host school to the Northside Primary Introductory English Centre (NPIEC) for migrant, refugee and temporary international private students, and to a Learning Support Unit (LSU) for students with autism. North Ainslie Primary also provides mainstream integration for a number of children with learning disabilities.
Out of school hours support is available to families through the YMCA who provide before and after school care as well as long-term holiday programs.
