Lethbridge Park Public School is a medium sized school, sited on a spacious and attractive area. Our school is provided with a high level of Commonwealth funding under the Disadvantaged Schools Program.
Most students live within easy walking distance from the school. Comprehensive programs with an emphasis on the development of positive attitudes are provided by the school and documented in the 2000-2002 Management Plan.
This plan emphasizes the: establishment of a supportive environment for learning and teaching; provision of a calm, safe and happy learning environment; encouragement of all students to value learning and strive to achieve fully; provision of equitable access to technology; maintenance of a pleasant, secure and appealing environment; provision of relevant, stimulating and rewarding experiences in the six Key Learning Areas with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy; recognition in the wider school community for standards in academic endeavours, sporting achievement, behaviour, courtesy and dress; and provision of training and development which meets the needs of all school and community members.
