The Year 2000 was the first year of operation for Whalan Campus as part of Chifley College. Whalan Campus became the campus for all senior students from Dunheved, Shalvey, Mt Druitt and Whalan Years 7 to 10 campuses. This significant change enabled students, staff, parents and community members to create a learning community geared towards an adult learning environment. Significant features of the Whalan Campus include: full curriculum for seniors; adult style learning environment; Enterprise Education Centre; continuing Years 8, 9, 10 students; direct links with Mt Druitt TAFE.
