Ouse District School is a primary school that predominately services the needs of the township of Ouse and surrounding rural areas and is approximately 50 km from the nearest major town of New Norfolk and 90 km from Hobart. The school site is excellent, situated in an attractive rural setting with ample grounds. There is an upgraded main classroom building, multi-purpose room, library, information technology centre, kitchen and gym. The school has a major focus on developing the skills of the students in the areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Health and Wellbeing and developing the social skills of all students.
